Worship
The Church is central to all that we do here at Clayton Wesley Uniting Church. Our congregation welcomes anyone who would like to join them in worship to their services.
Our service of worship commences at 10am and follows a traditional Uniting Church structure and the calendar of the Church year. We enjoy the music of our organists, occasional guest musicians and, on the first and fourth Sunday of the month, the Spire Quartet singers.
We sing mainly from Together In Song, a collection of classic and current Australian hymns and songs.
We take the Christian scriptures, the Bible, seriously but not literally. We explore the scriptures using our intellect, contemporary scholarship, and the rich tradition of the Church.
The scriptures, our life together, the arts, our individual and combined histories, and the cultures of the world are all sources of enlightenment, insight, and revelation as we seek to follow in the way of Jesus.
We share together in the sacrament of Holy Communion as a part of our worship service on the first and third Sunday of every month.
The Church can be opened for quiet reflection – please come to the church office.
