What do we offer the community?
Worship
You may be looking for a new spiritual home, where you reflect on your life, receive encouragement and support in following the way of Jesus. You may wish to share with other Christians who take the Bible seriously but not literally. You may also be looking for alternative ways to explore your spirituality – we offer that through art and music too. We welcome and accept everyone regardless of their sexual orientation, culture or traditions.
Weddings and Baptisms
You may be searching for a place to be married, or seek baptism for yourself or your children.
Social Welfare and Counselling
You may need physical help with food or counselling that is available from Uniting Communities Eastern Branch, who share the site with us. Or maybe you’re a new arrival needing assistance with navigating government systems, or you’d like some help with English.
A Great Op Shop
You may have goods to donate to Goodies, our Op Shop, or you may be a bargain hunter or someone wanting to help as a volunteer.
Community Services
You may be looking for a very affordable home-cooked meal, a yoga or meditation class, a playgroup, a choir to join, a community garden to contribute to, or some fellowship with people like yourself. Maybe you’d just like to drop in for a cuppa at the Op Shop or at Hope’s Cafe – open on Fridays.
History
You may be a history buff and enjoy our heritage buildings and grounds – 150 years old identified – with the Spire, a classic pipe organ and historic cemetery.
Facilities Hire
You may need to hire a space for your group’s activities or an event.
In any or all of these, the ministers and volunteers at Clayton Wesley want to be of service to you. For one hundred and fifty years we have been at the head of The Parade, sharing friendship, worship and care.
Come and experience it for yourself.
